Hello! I hope you are having a great week. This past weekend, we celebrated Addy's 13 birthday. Technically, she turns 13 in June, but with her birthday in the summer, everyone is usually out of town on vacation. A couple of years ago, I tried throwing her party in May because that was a lot closer to the actual date and because May is such a busy month with end-of-the-year sports parties, games, and recitals, not one single person could make it. My best friend and her daughter flew in for the weekend as the girls have become friends. Having an extra set of hands was nice to help me set up the party. The party began with pizza making followed by a soda bar. Addy and Kathryn had printed all kinds of combinations out for the girls to try. They then moved on to painting and necklace making followed by cake and presents. The girls had a lovely time.
